Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Data Accessed: Splitora accesses only the basic profile information required for authentication via Google OAuth 2.0. Specifically, we access the user’s email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture URL). We do not request access to restricted scopes like Drive, Gmail, or Calendar.

Data Usage: We use this data solely to provide and maintain the core functionality of the service. This includes identifying participants within a group and managing secure account sessions via Firebase.

Data Sharing: Splitora does not sell or share Google user data with any third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is only processed by our backend provider, Google Firebase, which acts as a data processor.

Data Storage & Protection: All user data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication). We rely on industry-standard security protocols, including encryption at rest and in transit via SSL/TLS.

Precise Geolocation: By using the tracker, you provide explicit consent to process precise location and movement data to validate your fitness activities.

Foreground Requirement: To ensure accuracy, the webapp must remain the active, foreground tab. Splitora is not liable for data loss caused by browser backgrounding or device power-saving settings.

Fair Play: GPS spoofing or manipulation results in immediate termination and forfeiture of paid access.

Billing: All fees are billed in the currency shown at checkout. You authorize Splitora AB to charge your payment method for the total amount, including applicable taxes.

EU/EEA Withdrawal: EU/EEA consumers may exercise their 14-day right of withdrawal via the "Withdraw from contract here" button in Account Settings.

Waiver of Right: By starting a GPS-tracked session immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Refund Fees: Discretionary refunds are subject to a 3.9% + $0.30 USD processing fee and a $1.00 USD administrative fee.

Retention Policy: We retain user data only as long as the account remains active.

Deletion Process: You can request the deletion of your data at any time via the "Delete Account" button in settings or by contacting us at info@splitora.com.

Automatic Deletion: Upon a valid deletion request, all associated Google user data is purged from our production environment within 30 days.

Age: You must be at least 16 years old (EU/EEA) or 13 years old (USA/Global) to create an account. Users under 18 require parental consent.

Safety: Use while driving or cycling is prohibited. Obey all local laws.

US Users: Disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.
